Partnership training programs are conducted in partnership with the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), Asian Development Bank (ADB), and other governments. The GDI operates training programs and related field trips in accordance with a project plan managed by partner institutions. The programs are mainly for senior-level officials or diplomats from developing countries.
The programs consist of lectures provided by academic experts, discussion and presentation sessions to interact with other participants and share each participant's own ideas, and field trips to learn Korean examples by experience. Furthermore, we invite international academics and practitioners in response to the demands of participants.

The Global Development Institute for Public Affairs (GDI) provided a training program for high-ranking Vietnamese officers from November 23 to December 6, 2024 . The goal of this education program was for high-ranking Vietnamese officers to learn about the understanding and administrative experience of Korean administration in order to develop government capacities in Vietnam at the request of the Vietnamese government. Over the course of two weeks, we provided lectures by excellent instructors and offered visits to sites where public administration is implemented, allowing participants to gain not only theoretical knowledge but also practical insights.

Global Development Institute for Public Affairs (GDI) conducted an education and training program on the use of big data and AI solutions in the new normal era with the Asian Development Bank (ADB) from June 12 to 17, 2023. This program was the second GDI-ADB training program since last year and was also funded by the Korean government's e-Asia and Knowledge Partnership Fund (EAKPF). A total of 22 public officials from 8 countries (Cambodia, China, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam) participated in this training program. The training sessions were interactive to encourage the exchange of ideas and sharing of experiences through case studies, problem-solving exercises, workshops, and group discussions and presentations.

Global Development Institute for Public Affairs(GDI) conducted an education and training program on the use of big data and AI solutions in the new normal era with the Asian Development Bank (ADB) from October 23 to 28, 2022. This program was funded by the Korean government's e-Asia and Knowledge Partnership Fund (EAKPF). A total of 19 public officials from 7 countries (Laos, Malaysia, Brunei, Indonesia, Cambodia, Thailand, and the Philippines) participated in this training program, and each country established the Big Data and AI utilization strategy to solve the social problems in the fields of health and social protection.

The Asia Development Institute (ADI) invited opinion leaders from Asian countries to the 2019 International Conference of the Asia Opinion Leaders Fellowship to share Korea's development experiences and challenges including the POSCO's business history. Along with various lectures from renowned scholars with great expertise in relevant fields and not only through the lectures, but also through SWOT analysis and action-plan building, the participants obtained a deep insight into their respective countries. This conference also included study visits to industrial clusters and Korean cultural events

The Asia Development Institute (ADI) had time to share the experiences of each university and country on policy and performance management with Universitas Indonesia. Fifteen faculty and officials from the UI visited the Graduate School of Public Administration, along with prof. Jong-won Choi, Tae-hyun Choi, and Kilkon Ko of GSPA, and discussed ways to strengthen networks between two universities and future academic cooperation.
In addition, the participants visited the Business School and discussed management cooperation ways with two professors including prof. Kwan-hui Lee, and toured Seoul National University's Kyujanggak and the Central Library through a campus tour.
